Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's Wedding
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's Wedding: Everything You Need to Know.
They're already married, but there's reportedly another ceremony in the works.
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin really had us fooled when they secretly
said "I do" last fall, then didn't confirm it until months later.
Although the hot young couple may already be husband and wife, the
wedding madness isn't over yet; they may still have a religious wedding
ceremony in the works. Here's everything we know about the
Bieber-Baldwin nuptials so far.
Justin and Hailey entering
a marriage license courthouse in New York City. The singer reportedly
cried at one point of the emotional visit and told his fiancée, "I can't
wait to marry you, baby," according to a source. Another insider said
Bieber thanked a court official for "keeping it on the DL."
People confirmed the following day Bieber and Baldwin did
tie the knot at the courthouse. However, Hailey posted (then deleted) a
tweet saying, "I understand where the speculation is coming from, but
I’m not married yet!"
Justin and Hailey have confirmed their marriage on social media.
After
leaving fans guessing about their marital status for months, the couple
finally confirmed they are married on social media. In November, Justin
captioned an Instagram photo with Hailey, "My wife is awesome," while she changed her username altogether to @haileybieber.
The religious ceremony was postponed.
The
couple, though already legally married, also wanted to have a religious
wedding ceremony with their families and friends. That event was
supposed to take place in January 2019, but the couple is reportedly
postponing it. There's no word on the real date.
"They’re working with the schedules of all their
friends and family to make sure they can be surrounded by the people
they love,” a source told People. “There’s no real rush."
Baldwin also previously teased to The Cut that the wedding will be in 2019.
They're putting off the ceremony so Justin can focus on his mental health.
Hailey
and Justin are reportedly pressing pause on their forthcoming religious
wedding ceremony to help Justin prioritize his mental health, a source
tells People.
A Bieber insider confirmed with the magazine that the couple “will have
a wedding ceremony with family and friends eventually. However, right
now, Justin’s focus is getting well mentally.”
The
pop star and his wife will still have a religious wedding ceremony,
however, “this is not their focus right now,” according to the
magazine’s source. The insider adds: “They haven’t sent out any new save
the dates. They will wait until Justin feels better and is excited
about planning their wedding again.”
It was previously rumored to take place in February 2019.
Shortly after rumors broke that the ceremony would be delayed, a source told Page Six that Justin and Hailey had already sent "Save the Dates" to family and friends, asking them to reserve February 28 for their nuptials.
The
outlet adds, citing an insider, that planning is fully underway, with
the wedding party being styled, dancers in rehearsals, and Justin's
personal DJ, Tay James, set to provide music for the event.
It was rumored to take place in Canada.
TMZ
also reports that Justin and Hailey's looming nuptials may take place
in the singer's home country. When they were at the Marriage Bureau,
they were reportedly overheard discussing leaving the country, sources
told the site. However, the couple hasn't confirmed where they'll tie
the knot.
An insider previously told Entertainment Tonight in July that the couple was considering getting hitched in Canada, the U.S., or possibly both.
The ceremony will be super small.
Weeks after the couple got engaged,
"Justin and Hailey have been telling friends they want to have a
smaller wedding, with close family and friends, nothing too over the
top."
But there could be a bigger "blowout" following the wedding.
“They’re going to have a big blowout, in front of God and everyone they love,” a "religious source" told People. It's unclear when the follow-up bash may take place. People's insider says it'll happen "soon,"
No, Hailey is not pregnant.
A source clarified that the short-lived engagement doesn't imply that a baby is on the way: "100 percent she's not pregnant."

The model's dress isn't ready, but she has chosen a designer (who, obviously, remains secret), she told The Cut.
Her bridal party will be "small and familial."
Baldwin also confirmed to The Cut
that her older sister Alaia will be her bridesmaid, since she was hers
last year. She also hopes Bieber's 10-year-old sister, Jazmyn, can be
the flower girl.
